In my solo 50-minute dérive through Clinton Hill, I embraced a distinctive set of rules to navigate the neighborhood. Opting to walk straight, I introduced an element of chance at crosswalks or intersections by flipping a coin to determine whether to turn left or right. After completing the walk, I translated my decisions into musical notes: C for straight, E for right, and G for left. This process turned my stroll into a unique musical composition, where each intersection resonated as a distinct melody within the neighborhood.
